Possible uses

Styrene-free Vinylester Resin Anchoring works in solid and hollow materials and places where expandable dowels cannot be used.
Cures underwater.

Vinylester Technology
Classical vinylester resins and the 2-component injection mortar made from them combine the thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy resins with the easy and fast processability of unsaturated polyester resins.

Pattex CF 920 which is based on styrene-free vinylester is characterized by a very high chemical resistance.

Solid Material

Application in solid material:

1. Drill a borehole with a percussion drill.

2. Clean borehole by blowing and brushing 4 times each.

3. Screw mixer to the cartridge.

4. Squeeze out and remove compound until a homogeneous grey color appears, then apply (approx. 10 cm).

5. Starting from the bottom, fill ¾ of the borehole with mortar.

6. Using a turning motion insert the reinforcement bar or threaded rod.

7. Visual check of mortar filling and remove excess mortar.

8. Observe correct hardening time. Please note, that curing time strongly depends on environmental temperature. You will find the correct curing time for each product in the Technical Data Sheets.

9. Install fixing element and apply with torque.

Hollow Material

Application in hollow material:

1. Drill a borehole without percussion drill.

2. Clean borehole by blowing and brushing 4 times each.

3. Insert sleeve.

4. Screw mixer to the cartridge.

5. Squeeze out and remove compound until a homogeneous grey color appears, then apply (approx. 10 cm).

6. Starting from the bottom, fill sleeve completely with mortar.

7. Using a turning motion insert the anchoring element.

8. Observe correct hardening time. Please note, that curing time strongly depends on environmental temperature. You will find the correct curing time for each product in the Technical Data Sheets.

9. Install fixing element and apply with torque.
